We are wrapping up a residential project in Marin County that utilized three different fenestration products we offer. The project features Marvin Aluminum Clad Windows and Doors on three sides of the project and Fire Rated Wall Assemblies from Safti First on the fourth side. The Fire Rated wall assemblies were used to satisfy code requirements for property line windows. In order to match the Marvin Aluminum Clad Ebony Exterior and the painted wood interior, the fire rated windows were ordered with black exterior cladding on the GPX framing and white interior cladding.

The general contractor on the project then trimmed out the interiors of the fire rated windows to match the interior detailing on the Marvin windows. A glass block window from Pacific Glass Block was used in the shower to provide a window solution for a wet location and provide obscure glass so that the neighbors can not see in.
