All frameless shower doors are custom designed for each opening. Our skilled installers work with you to determine critical dimensions based on each opening. You can decide on the width, height, hardware, and design of your shower door. There are a wide range of glass options for shower doors.

- We can use just about any shower hardware available to build your custom shower. We frequently use Baldwin, FSB, Linnea and Rocky Mountain Hardware when a customer or project requires it to match their interior finishes.
Glass Options
- Range from standard 3/8” or 1/2” clear glass (green hue) to optiwhite and starphire (which are low iron glass products, having a less visible green)
- Glass coatings to reduce the build up of water spots
- Specific glass for showers such as ShowerGuard & ShowerGuard Ultrawhite (low iron)
To assist customers in design and quoting of their heavy glass shower doors, we have develop default options that are priced. These defaults provide a baseline and there is usually only a minor price adjustment to change hardware or glass.
We install showers all over the San Francisco Bay Area. In Marin County, Building Codes for Frameless Showers dictate the placement of the hardware and the type of glass clips and hinges that are used. In other counties that do not have specific local codes for shower doors, we tend to follow the more stringent Marin County Codes. There are hundreds of additional options for shower door hardware and numerous types of glass. We frequently use Portal’s Hardware, Rocky Mountain Hardware, FSB, other types of CR Laurence’s Shower Door Hardware.
In addition to the standard glass, there are options such as Optiwhite and Starphire Glass - which are low iron glass products with less green on the edge of the glass. Glass is available with ShowerGuard from Guardian Industries that is designed to prevent the build up of water spots on the surface of your shower. Old Town Glass works with manufacturers and fabricators to offer our customer’s standard clear glass with either Tekon or Diamond Fusion Glass coatings that act like Rain x for your shower glass.
