Building Codes / Permits:

Every city in Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and San Francisco counties in general follow the regulations set forth by the Uniform Building Code. In addition, most city's and counties now require building permits for all new and/or replacement (retrofit or Z-bar) windows, skylights, and doors in both residential and commercial applications. In most areas, building permits are strictly enforced, and without the proper documentation you risk complications during the resale of your property. 

Old Town Glass is a California State Licensed Contractor and where applicable we require that a permit be obtained prior to the date in which we are scheduled to perform the given work. Typically a resident will apply for a permit for the quoted work, or if specified Old Town Glass will obtain a permit for a processing fee.
